Heat Transfer Fluids

Numerous production processes require or release energy in the form of heat and must then be cooled. Various media perform this task. The crucial criterion other than their heat transfer characteristics is their thermostability, which is the indicator of the heat transfer fluid’s service life and is therefore partly responsible for costs and downtimes. Another decisive criterion is the heat transfer fluid’s decomposition products, which can settle in the plant and cause damage to it. Temperatures of between –100°C and +400°C must be covered.
